Description
Callaway Gardens is a 13,000-acre, award-winning Pine Mountain resort community in the southern Appalachian Mountains centered on 65-acre Robin Lake. Known as a conservatory of natural beauty, it now offers the benefits of home ownership.
Golf at Callaway Gardens combines woodland beauty and a brawny challenge. The well-known Mountain View course is among the nation's top layouts, according to
Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. It hosted the PGA Tour's Buick Challenge for over a decade.
The layout for the original golf course, Lake View, was inspired by resort founder Cason Callaway, a visionary environmentalist who believed that the game should be a rejuvenating experience in beautiful surroundings.
Twin Oaks golf practice facility is over 26 acres and features 1.5 acres of manicured tee space along with multiple target greens and a large practice putting green. For honing the short game, there are two large sand bunkers and multiple chipping and pitching areas.

Callaway Gardens has won several awards.
Toning and Training with Professionals to Assist
The new and intriguing Spa Prunifolia is one of finest in Georgia, complete with 13 treatment rooms and a full spa menu for relaxation. It's part of the Lodge and Spa complex, which is lushly landscaped and ideal for accommodating guests.
The Spa Fitness Center has a weight and cardiovascular training studio, you'll find state-of-the-art weight resistance machines, free weights, treadmills, exercycles and elliptical trainers. Personal trainers provide individual evaluation and training, or group exercise.

The Lodge and Spa offers an excellent outdoor heated pool featuring two whirlpool spas. During summer months, a full service cabana-style bar and grill features a flat screen television and a stacked stone fireplace. The Cottages at Callaway offers two connected pools, one indoor and one outdoor, with lifeguards on duty during peak summer season.
Surrounded by nature, the Piedmont Dining Room in The Lodge and Spa features an inviting setting for a delicious meal. Other dining options at Callaway Gardens include the Plant Room restaurant, the Ironwood Lounge and the Vineyard Green Lounge.

Enjoy dining with a view.
Uniting People with Nature is the Mission
One of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of this Pine Mountain getaway is to walk the trail system covering 17-plus miles throughout the resort. The trails lead to the eponymous gardens—which are actually four distinct showcases of floral beauty.
A spectacular 35,000-square-foot complex tucked in a woodland setting on the edge of Mountain Creek Lake serves as the center for conservation, preservation and environment education and exhibits at the resort community.

Enjoy the outdoors at the waterfront fire pit at Camp Callaway.
Callaway Gardens is also home to North America's largest glass-enclosed conservatory, home to 1,000 tropical butterflies, plants and birds. Sports enthusiasts find a wonderland of activities to enjoy, including fishing, tennis and shooting at award-winning facilities.
The resort's Education Department provides fascinating, year-round classes, lectures, tours, and demonstrations. You can have an up-close encounter with magnificent birds of prey that are featured in the outdoor, free-flighted shows.
